Transparent pricing

DelayPaid charges a single 25% success fee (VAT included) on the compensation received. No upfront costs, no admin fees — if we recover nothing, you pay nothing.

Success fee
25%
VAT included — on the compensation received
No win = nothing to pay. No assessment fee, no admin charge, no court costs.
Three things to know before you sign.
1. If the airline pays you directly instead of us, the success fee is still due — the work has been done and the airline has paid. This does happen in practice, Ryanair among others. If we had not yet submitted or handled the claim at the time the airline pays out on its own initiative, no fee is due.
2. If you withdraw the instruction after we have filed the claim but before there is an outcome, we may charge a reasonable fee for work already done: € 95 per hour excluding VAT, capped at the success fee. If you have not expressly requested us to start already during the cooling-off period, you owe nothing on withdrawal.
3. If you terminate the instruction and the airline nonetheless pays out as a result of our work, the ordinary fee of 25% including VAT is due, provided we had demonstrably filed the claim in writing before your termination and the payment takes place within 12 months of that termination (Article 9(6) of the terms and conditions). Any termination fee already paid is deducted.
If the claim is rejected, you pay nothing.

How the numbers work

Short distance

€250 per person

Up to 1,500 km

Compensation€250
DelayPaid fee (25% incl. VAT)− €62.50
You receive€187.50

Long distance

€600 per person

Over 3,500 km

Compensation€600
DelayPaid fee (25% incl. VAT)− €150
You receive€450
On flights over 3,500 km the airline may halve the compensation to €300 only if it offered you an alternative flight arriving no more than 4 hours later than originally scheduled (art. 7(2) EU261); a plain delay of 3 hours or more without such an offer leaves the full amount intact. DelayPaid assesses this automatically in your file.

What's included

  • Assessment of your claim against EU261
  • Formal claim letter to the airline
  • Follow-up and deadline monitoring
  • Negotiation with the airline
  • Court proceedings if necessary (all legal costs covered)
  • Payment transfer within 5 working days of receipt
  • Status updates throughout the process
We do not charge anything on statutory interest or reimbursed travel expenses — those go entirely to you.

You can also claim yourself — for free

You have the right to submit your EU261 claim directly to the airline, at no cost. DelayPaid saves you the time and hassle. That's the trade-off — and we want you to know your options before you decide.
